QCAM Transitions to New Director/Lead PI

Earlier this year, QCAM underwent a slight change in its leadership structure. Lead PI and founder of the QCAM project, Dr. Ehsan Dehghan-Niri has taken a new position at Arizona State University. In order to maintain the continued success of the QCAM project, it was decided that the best course of action would be to name a new director/lead PI from within the consortium.

Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Dr. Borys Drach

New Lead PI & Director of the Consortium Enabling In- and Ex-Situ Quality Control of Additive Manufacturing (QCAM)

That is why we are glad to announce that Dr. Borys Drach of NMSU will be the new Director and Lead PI moving forward. Dr. Drach currently serves as a Co-PI on the QCAM program and has been involved in multiple activities since the inception of this project. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NMSU. Dr. Drach looks forward to keeping the QCAM project moving towards its proposed goals and objectives while supporting the QCAM faculty and students alike.

Dr. Niri will continue to be involved with the QCAM project as a research consultant and to help facilitate cross-consortium networking. We are glad to be keeping him in the QCAM family and wish him the best of luck in this new endeavor.
