Engineering Week at NMSU
Last week the QCAM team celebrated Engineering Week at NMSU by hosting tours of the Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) lab for local high school students. Students were able to see the tools, equipment, and demonstrations on several of the QCAM focus areas such as ultrasound immersion testing and CT Scanning.
Several QCAM graduate student also participated in this outreach event by providing the demonstrations that showcased the various NDE techniques in use in their research.
We hope the students enjoyed their time with us and we look forward to doing more outreach activities like this in order to raise awareness of the QCAM project at NMSU.
