KCNSC Site Visit to NMSU

One of the great things about being part of the QCAM project is being able to work with great innovative thinkers like the team from Kansas City National Security Campus. This August, NMSU was fortunate enough to host a site visit for the team to showcase the research capabilities & facilities of the university.

During this visit, the team from KCNSC got to tour several research labs including the Non-Desctructive Evaluation Lab, the Aggie Innovation Space, and the Hypersonic lab. They met the QCAM faculty involved with the QCAM project and many of their students. They also received research project updates from several of our undergraduate and graduate students.

Finally, they were given the opportunity to connect and engage not only with our QCAM students, but several other NMSU student organizations and groups, like the Atomic Aggies.
This was a great experience for all involved and we can not wait to see what develops from more interactions like this.
