Welcome our New QCAM Graduate Student
QCAM would like to welcome the newest addition to the research team, Stephen Northrup. Stephen is joining us as a Graduate Research Assistant at NMSU while pursuing a Master’s of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering degree.
Stephen was previously involved with the QCAM Project as a an undergraduate student. He participated in the 2nd Annual QCAM Summer Camp at NTU in May of 2023 and then went on to be selected as an Undergraduate Research Scholar at NMSU in the Fall of 2023. Upon his graduation in December 2023 with a Bachelors in Mechanical engineering, he decided to continue his work with QCAM.
As a veteran with over 24 years of service in the US Army, Stephen hopes to continue to find ways to serve his country by aiding in the important research performed by QCAM and hopefully continue through the QCAM pipeline to a career within the NNSA.
