Spring 2024 QCAM Graduate
Spring commencement season is ramping up, and we are excited to be celebrating another one of our QCAM Graduate Scholars graduation. Darin McFadden, a Graduate Research Assistant at NMSU will be receiving his Master’s of Engineering in Industrial Engineering next Friday, May 10th.
Over the past 2 years, Darin has worked under the mentorship of QCAM founder, Dr. Ehsan Dehghan-Niri, and current QCAM Director, Dr. Borys Drach. Darin’s research focused on the use of ultrasonic immersion testing of additively manufactured components. He was also mentored by QCAM partners at Los Alamos National Lab, Dr. Cristian Pantea and Eric Davis during his internship there over the summer of 2023.
Although we are sad to see him go, we are also thrilled to share that Darin will be taking part in an internship with DOE in Washington D.C this summer before starting his career at Kansas City National Security Campus. Way to go Darin!
